Guidance by Grade

The Guidance Department of St. Catharine Academy is staffed by four Guidance Counselors, and a full time Administrative Assistant. We are located in the “North Wing” of the school building, easily accessible to faculty and students.

Every SCA student meets with her guidance counselor for group guidance classes and also for scheduled individual appointments. The counselors are also available to students during the school day and students frequently come to see them during lunch time. Guidance counselors assist the students during the school year with academic needs, course selection process and pre-college planning. 

Parent appointments are encouraged and scheduled as needed in addition to the parent-faculty meetings.

All students are encouraged to use the Departments' Naviance Family Connections internet software program for: career planning and searches, resume creation, personality assessment, course scheduling, scholarship and college searches.
