Athletics
2023-2024
Students completed on the Varsity level in basketball, cheer and volleyball. The Middle School competed in basketball on the CYO level. Grades 6-9 are participating in intramural volleyball this spring.
SCA also began a track team for grades 6-12 this spring.
In recent years:
The Varsity Basketball team won the Catholic High School Athletic Association Tier 3 (B level) to become the 2022 Archdiocese of New York and New York City Champions. The JV Basketball team was the 2020 Archdiocesan Champions. The Cheer teams have gone to Nationals for almost 20 years and been in the Finals 13 times. In 2015 and 2018, the Junior Varsity took home Gold medals. In 2016 and 2018, the Varsity took home Bronze medals. The Varsity Volleyball team was 2021 Division Champions. The Varsity Softball team were the 2019 Archdiocesan Champions.
