Delayed Opening/Closing of School

During inclement weather, there are times when a delayed opening will be used instead of a school closing. The delayed opening schedule is printed on page 43 of the Parent Handbook.

You may watch for a delayed opening on WCBS-TV, Channel 2 and WNBC-TV, Channel 4, as well as listen for the latest information on 710 WOR AM or 1010 WINS AM. WOR and CBS will also list delayed openings and school closings on the Internet at http://www.wor710.com, http://cbsnewyork.com and the school website http//www.scahs.org. See school status box.
