Guidance & Student Services

The Guidance Department of St. Catharine Academy is staffed by five Guidance Counselors, and a full time Administrative Assistant. We are located in the “North Wing” of the school building, easily accessible to faculty and students.

Every SCA student meets with her guidance counselor for group guidance classes and also for scheduled individual appointments. The counselors are also available to students during the school day and students frequently come to see them during lunch time.

Parent appointments are encouraged and scheduled as needed in addition to the parent-faculty meetings.

During the school year, the Guidance Department sponsors a variety of functions including:

Annual College Fair
Financial Aid Meeting
College Admissions Guests
Junior Parent Night
AP, PLAN, PSAT Testing Programs
Workshops: Essay Writing, Grade Level
