Reunion Weekend

Dear Alumnae,

We are very happy to be able to get together with all of you and celebrate your SCA anniversary.  Below, please see important information about your reunion.

Your safety is our main concern.

In order to maintain everyone’s safety, the reunion will take place on the newly constructed parking lot in an open-sided tent.  CDC and NYC guidelines will be followed.

What will I receive for the cost of the ticket?

An elegant lunch catered by Posto22, a popular restaurant located in New Rochelle with an extensive catering business. The luncheon will commence with a cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a buffet lunch.  Passed hors d'oeuvres include beef & cheese empanadas, bruschetta platters, and pigs in a blanket. Entrees include chicken martini, penne alla vodka, eggplant rollatini, shrimp scampi, sautéed string beans, and potato croquettes. A gluten-free entrée will be available.  Beverages include Wine, Red Sangria, Mimosas, Prosecco, soft drinks, coffee, and tea will also be served.  Dessert will be a napoleon cake. This is not the school lunch you remember!

What does the program include?

The day will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by a lunch, a celebration of the 50th & 25th anniversaries with conferment of class pins, class photos for all anniversary years, and tours of the school.

Will I be able to tour the school?

The school created a new lobby space with an accessible entry vestibule, an elevator serving all floors, and renovated accessible bathrooms on all floors. We are preparing for a self-guided tour as well as student-led tours.

Will former faculty and staff be in attendance?

Yes, former faculty and staff are invited to attend the reunion. If there is a particular teacher that you would like to see at reunion please let us know.  We will make every effort for them to attend.  A list of attendees will be regularly posted on our website at

Why should I attend reunion?

You should come and celebrate your reunion because it will give you a chance to reconnect with classmates that you may have not seen since you graduated from high school.  Even if you keep in contact through social media, you will have a wonderful time at the luncheon making new memories with your friends.  It is also an opportunity for you to catch up with what’s happening at SCA.

I don’t feel connected to anyone from my class.  Why should I attend?

The years since high school mean change and growth. Suddenly, what made many feel differently at 16, make alums feel connected now. See what Catharinites are doing today and meet alumnae from other years. It is also a great opportunity to network with other Catharinites.

Did you relocate and need accommodations?

The Residence Inn Marriott is conveniently located on 1776 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.  The hotel is approximately 7 minutes from the school.   For more information, please visit their website.

How can I register?

You can register online by going to or by returning the reply card to SCA. If you are unable to attend the reunion, consider making a gift in honor or in memory of a classmate or teacher.

The alumnae office is always looking forward to welcoming you back to your alma mater and creating new memories with you.

If we haven’t answered a question that you may still have about your reunion, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Jessica Ruiz, Director of Alumnae and Family Relations at 718-882-2882, ext. 153 or
