While we are currently living in a time of uncertainty know that one thing is for sure - St. Catharine Academy is thinking of you. We are keeping you and your families in our prayers. Because of the Stay at Home directive, we are no longer taking in-person appointments. However, we are still accepting registration online and we are available to answer any questions you may have.   • Acceptance Letters were mailed on January 15, 2020
  • Registration available online. Prior to Registering, please email a copy of your daughter’s 6th, 7th, and most recent 8th grade report cards along with a copy of any Standardized State Tests, and IEP/IESP (if applicable) to admissons@scahs.org.
  • Registration Day, Wednesday, March 4, 2020
  • Kick Off to High School: July 6-17, 2020 (see brochure)
 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I do once I have received SCA’s acceptance letter and I want to register my daughter at St. Catharine Academy?
Inside your acceptance letter envelope there is a return envelope and card. Please fill the card out and return the card along with $150.00, cash or money order, to SCA. Fill out the application card and pay the application fee online.

Can someone bring the card and money to SCA?

Due to New York State’s Stay at Home directive, we are no longer taking in person appointments. Please complete the Application Card and Fee online.

After sending in the acceptance card what should I expect next?
After an acceptance card is received, SCA will send a registration packet to you. Please be sure to follow the registration checklist (pink page).

What are important dates for the Class of 2024 students and parents?

  • March 4  Registration for C’24, 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • July 6 – July 17 Kick Off to High School Program
  • September 10 Freshmen Orientation
  • September 10 Freshmen BBQ and Parent Meeting
  • September 11 First Day of Classes

 

Is there Financial Aid available and, if there is, how do I apply?

There is Financial Aid available for incoming students. Once a student is registered by filling out the FACTS FORM and paying the General Fee of $800.00 the family is eligible to apply for Finance Aid through FACTS. Applications are accepted from Friday, March 1, to Monday, April 20. Late applications or incomplete applications will not be considered. Grants will be announced on Friday, May 29, 2020.

What is the KICK OFF to HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM?

The KICK OFF TO HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM is a summer program from July 6 to July 17. The program is for all incoming Grade 9 students. The main goal of the program is to transition students from grade school to high school. Students will receive their iPad, meet some of their teachers, receive their locker, complete summer assignments, meet their classmates, and make new friends. A brochure was included in the acceptance envelope. The cost of the program is $300.00.
