Summer School Information

Guidelines

 A Student is required to go to summer school

If a student fails a course.

A student failing any subject must go to a full session summer school and pass the subject in order to return to St Catharine Academy in September.

If a student fails a required Regents/Common Core Exam.

A student failing any required Exam must go to a full session summer school and retake the exam in order to return to St Catharine Academy in September.

 Failure to attend summer school will result in dismissal.

ALL students failing any subject or regents exam are required to meet with their guidance counselor to discuss APPROVED summer school options.  The student will receive the REQUIRED St Catharine summer school permission form listing courses and/or tests needed which is signed by the Principal, as well as their individual Exam ID number. Without this number they will not be able to register to take a regents/common core exam in any summer school.
