Tuition and Fees
St. Catharine Academy uses FACTS MANAGEMENT COMPANY for the collection of tuition and fees. If you have any questions, please contact FACTS at 866-412-4637. To make online payments, please visit online www.scahs.org/facts/.
Sibling Discount: If you have another daughter attending SCA, she will receive a reduction of one month's tuition.
Grades 6-8: Tuition is collected from August through May.
Grade 9: Tuition is collected from July through April.
Grades 10-12: Tuition is collected from June through April.
St. Catharine Academy High School
The General Fee includes but is not limited to:
Assemblies, Guidance testing, Records - final official transcripts (1), Supplies for Academic courses (ex. lab, art, computer), Graphic Calculator-Grade 9, Student Accident Insurance, Student ID Cards, FACTS Enrollment Fee.
Grade 12 Graduation Fee* includes but is not limited to: Awards, Cap & Gown, Diploma & Case, Insurance, Invitations, Printing of Programs, Rental of Graduation Facility, Yearbook.
St. Catharine Academy Middle School
The Registration Fee includes but is not limited to:
Student enrollment fees, supplies (ie. Art), testing, SCA leased technology device, extended care, and student accident insurance.
Grade 8 Graduation Fee* includes but is not limited to: Awards, Cap & Gown, Diploma & Case, Invitations, and Printing of Programs.
*Please note the fees are combined with the Tuition payments.
Academic Scholarships
Trustee Scholars: An invitation to become a Trustee Scholar is awarded to freshmen who achieve a rank of 92nd percentile on the TACHS examination and meet attendance and behavioral requirements. Students must place SCA on her list of schools on the TACHS in order to be considered for a Trustee Scholarship. A Trustee Scholarship is equal to 55% of tuition. Students must follow the prescribed course of study and meet academic and behavioral standards to remain eligible. Students may enter the Trustee Scholar Program at any level. Trustee Scholarships cannot be combined with any other SCA tuition discounts except the sibling discount.
Financial Aid
Each year, St. Catharine Academy makes available from the school budget a certain amount of funds for tuition assistance. Funds are limited. The window to apply for incoming Grade 9 students is from October 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025. All applications are filed online and cost $40.00 which is non-refundable. If you need assistance in applying please contact the Finance Office at 718-882-2882 Ext. 162. Students will be notified of financial aid awards in their acceptance packet.
For 10th, 11th, and 12th graders the window to apply is between March 2025 and May 2025. Announcements are made in July.
The application for ALL grades is available by visiting FACTS.
St. Catharine Academy also participates in such programs as Be A Student’s Friend, Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club, BridgeUP, and Inner-City Scholarship Fund. Applications for such tuition assistance must be made through the participating agency. St. Catharine Academy does not participate in the SSP program.
Grants
Catholic School Employee Grant: $1,000 grant for employees of other Catholic Schools. To be eligible you must:
- Be a full-time employee
- Provide verification of employment via two most recent pay stubs.
- Be listed as a financially responsible party in FACTS.
The Catholic School Employee Grant cannot be combined with any other SCA tuition discounts except the sibling discount. This grant must be applied for annually.
Legacy Grant: $1,000 grant awarded to a student whose parent, legal guardian, or sibling graduated from St. Catharine Academy. To apply please supply the name, relationship, and year of graduation for the alumna(e). The Legacy Grant cannot be combined with any other SCA tuition discounts except the sibling discount.

St. Catharine Academy Middle School
At this time, St. Catharine Academy does not offer school-based financial aid for Middle School. SCA participates in such programs as Be a Student’s Friend, Inner-City Scholarship, and The Children’s Scholarship.
